SKINCARE SUNDAY-- Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser product review

I bought the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser a while ago and have only recently gotten around to using it. When it was first marketed some time ago, I had assumed a misconception about the product. Vaseline state that on the bottle that the Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser is a 'non-greasy formula' that 'absorbs in seconds'. I had wrongly assumed then that you would spray the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser onto the skin and it would sink in immediately without having to rub it in. This would have been an amazing miracle product if ever there was one. Sadly, this is not the case and although the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser sinks into the skin, you do still have to rub it in (how else would it work to soothe dry skin?)

I really like the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser although the spray nozzle is a little messy at times. Contained in a pressurized can the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser can be freezing cold on the skin. Once you get over the initial shock of the temperature however, it is an incredible moisturiser for dry skin especially on your legs post-sun.

I mentioned that it's quite messy and with good reason. The Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser reminds me of spray on false tan as the nozzle is quite difficult to press down (despite there being a thumb depress at the top of the canister). For me a selling point of the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser was that you can apply it with a full 360 degrees, hence why it's messy. When you spray the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser on the backs of your legs, for instance, it seems to hit the leg and anything behind you (in my case the white bath-tub!) I like the 360 degree design which ensures that you can use the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser on the backs of your legs or upside down and it will still work! In theory it's a great little product but it needs a little bit of improvement in my opinion. I liked how silky soft my legs felt after using the Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser and it's reasonably priced between £3.50 and £5.59 depending on the retailer.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser is a definite keeper in my books. Let me know what you think of this product in the comments below. I'd love to hear from you xx
