Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop product review

If you're a regular reader of The Beauty Blog you'll know that I don't consider myself to have expensive tastes when it comes to make-up. With this in mind I personally think that £16 for a lipstick is a little steep but the Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop is something of a miracle product. I received a free sample of Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop product review a couple of months ago and hadn't gotten around to trying it out until now. The Pop Lip Colour lipstick comes in 24 different shades and given my impression of the Cherry Pop colour I'd be eager to try out the other shades too.

I really liked the Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop as the colour isn't too bright and like its' name the colour really pops on the lips. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop leaves a smooth shiny finish to the lips and doesn't dry them out. There's very little colour transference even if you can't be bothered to blot your lips (which is so often the case for me) and the colour lasted hours. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop is quite a pinky red rather than a bright red and it really suits pale skin tones. The formula is moisturising and the write up on the Clinique website states that it's also a primer as well as a lipstick. This I can fully believe as it leaves your lips feeling really soft and smooth. After a couple of hours wear I did feel that my lips were starting to dry out and crack but unfortunately this is normal for me.

I absolutely loved the Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop and it might even replace my old and worn red lipstick from AVON. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Cherry Pop lipstick is fragrance free but it does have that horrible crayon taste that most lipsticks have which is unfortunate but I really love the lipstick all the same.

Let me know what you think or which one is your favourite shade in the comments below xx
